Western Australian aged care service provider Roshana Care has invested $3.8M to buy the vacant aged care home adjoining the Brentwood Village Retirement Village in Kincumber.
The 30-year-old aged care home with 102 beds was last operated by Aurrum Aged Care but closed in 2022 because of staffing challenges which impacted the aged care industry between 2019 and 2023 during COVID-19.
It was recently renovated and furnished suitable for a variety of care accommodation for up to 65 residents including residential aged care, supported residential services and NDIS accommodation.
The aged care home, at 1A Scaysbrook Dr, has the advantage of being co-located with Keytons Brentwood Retirement Village which has a mixture of 400 apartments and independent living units.
Roshana Care is a rapidly growing Perth-based residential aged care operator which is targeting growth into the NDIS, community services and mental health accommodation sectors.
The company has aged care homes in Western Australia, NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
Roshana plans to give the Kincumber aged care home a “light refurbishment” before reopening.
