A Community Youth Hub Co-design session will be held this Thursday, April 10, from 6.30pm-8.30pm at Kibble Park in Gosford.
To be located next to the Old Gosford Library, the pop-up event will give community members and stakeholders a chance to have input into a Community Youth Hub concept and site for Gosford CBD.
Regional Youth Support Services (RYSS) CEO Kim McLoughry said all community members were welcome to attend and give input.
“We are focussed on families and young people’s needs in our community,” she said.
“We encourage positive and constructive ideas that are inclusive of young people aged 10-25.
“We have $1M in Youth Empowerment funding for staff – now we can embed a permanent Community Youth Hub ‘forever’ legacy site.”
Stakeholders and community members of all ages are welcome to a discussion on the possibility of the old Gosford Library site or other possible CBD sites being repurposed for use as a central Community Youth Hub.
An RSVP to reachout@ryss.com.au is desirable.
