The Trilogy Community Cup is set to bring together sports stars, local leaders and community members for an action-packed day of football and fundraising in support of at-risk youth on the Central Coast from 9am-3pm on Sunday, April 6.
The highly anticipated event, to take place at Industree Group Stadium in Gosford, will feature an exciting match at 1.30pm between The Mayor’s XI and Slater’s XI, with an incredible lineup of players, including Robbie Slater, Taj Lynch, Heather Garriock, Eddy Bosnar, Damien Brown, Dean Hefferan, and more.
Team leaders will be Central Coast Mayor Lawrie McKinna, who is an ambassador for Trilogy Foundation’s youth programs, and former professional soccer player and sports commentator Robbie Slater.
Beyond the competition on the field, the Trilogy Community Cup serves a greater purpose – raising funds for the Trilogy Foundation, a local charity dedicated to empowering young people through mentorship, skill-building and community inclusion programs.
These include Youth Back In Community program, a response to the increasing rates of juvenile justice cases and local concerns regarding disengaged youth.

The Trilogy Foundation works with youth aged 8-17, providing them with resilience-building programs, trusted mentors and access to safe, supportive spaces like Jordy’s Place, a respite farm at Somersby where young people can care for animals, participate in hands-on activities like woodworking and gardening, and connect with peers in a nurturing environment.
The foundation also runs school holiday programs designed to foster confidence, personal growth, and a sense of belonging.
“We believe that investing in young people is in everyone’s best interest because they are the future generation,” Executive Officer Cathy Deblaere said.
“Through our programs, we empower kids to set their own goals, develop life skills, and feel like valued members of their community.
“We’re seeing the community come together, support a great cause, and create lasting change in the lives of young people through a shared love of football and the Central Coast, the place we call home.
“Get involved by attending the event, donating, or spreading the word.”
