Two new paediatricians have joined the growing Central Coast obstetrics and gynaecology practice, Intuition Private.
The highly experienced paediatricians, Dr Shriniwas Chinta and Dr Umesh Mishra, will ensure local families have greater access to expert care for babies and young children.
Chinta is a neonatologist and general paediatrician with more than 20 years of experience in newborn and paediatric care across Australia and internationally.
He has a special interest in infant growth and development, premature infant care, nutrition, reflux, colic, sleep and settling concerns.
Mishra brings additional expertise in general paediatrics, including newborn health and early childhood development.
His clinic will focus on babies and children up to five years of age, with some scope for behavioural concerns.
The new paediatric service at Intuition Private is open to all families, regardless of whether they are existing patients of the clinic.
Private health cover is not required, and Medicare rebates are available to eligible patients.
Families do not need to have previously engaged with Intuition Private’s obstetric services to book an appointment, making this a highly accessible service for the wider Central Coast community.
Clinical Director at Intuition Private Dr Peta Skilbeck said staff at the practice were committed to expanding access to high-quality healthcare for women and families.
“With Dr Chinta and Dr Mishra joining our team, we’re excited to offer comprehensive paediatric care right here in North Gosford,” she said.
The practice is at 6/12 Jarrett St.
