We continue our series of month-by-month reviews of the major regional news of 2024 as reported in Coast Community News.

Central Coast SES units received almost 600 requests for help in four days as storm’s battered the region early in April.

The Save Our Sand group called for a sand nourishment program to address ongoing erosion issues at Wamberal Beach and members of the Central Coast rock climbing community join forces with the NPWS to clean up Bouddi National Park.

The Central Coast Youth Hub in Erina St, Gosford, closed due to lack of funding and 450 swimmers converged on Terrigal Beach on Easter Saturday for the annual Daffodil Dip fundraising swim.
