Member for Wyong David Harris has encouraged residents to attend Christmas events to be held across his electorate.
“As we reach the end of another busy year, I would like to sincerely wish you a Merry Christmas, spending quality time with family and friends,” Harris said in a message to constituents.
“Our Christmas events can be a heartwarming way to bring the community together and celebrate the festive season by a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, visit from Santa, singing carols, craft for kids, local artisans and entertainment and eateries.”
Wyong Community Christmas Carols will host local artists and entertainers to get you in the rhythm to spread the Christmas spirit with a visit from Santa, finishing the event with fireworks at 9pm.
It will be held from 5.30pm-9pm on Saturday, December 7 at Wyong High School Oval.
Tinsel Time in Toukley will light up the Christmas tree in the Village Green on December 7 with Santa photos, a reptile display and a best dressed Christmas outfit competition.
The fun will continue from 5-9pm.
Surfing Santa at Soldiers Beach is an annual event, organised for the past nine years by John Gatt with the support of local businesses John Gatt K9 Services, Beachin Surf, and Bucko’s Fibreglass Repairs and volunteers.
On the day you will see the Fun Engine fire truck with Santa and his Elves followed by the Grinch.
Remember to bring your cameras to take free Santa photos.
The event will be held at 10am on Christmas Day at the top carpark at Soldiers Beach, Norah Head.
