New bill normalises sexualisation of society

Readers' forum letters

Our local Labor MPs have once again shown their standing on moral standards, ethical values and social issues.

Whilst we hear many concerns about domestic violence, children’s mental health, women’s safety and care and fairness in sport, our local Labor MPs, with the help of The Greens, have just approved a legislation (Alex Greenwich’s Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+ Bill) that will, in brief: introduce radical gender ideology to law; allow legal sex changes via self-ID, entrenching gender ideology in law, enabling male access to women’s spaces; let children legally change sex, encouraging harmful transitions (albeit with the consent of their parents); further liberalise prostitution, reducing protections and increasing exploitation; and normalise the sexualisation of society and commodification of women.

This is something we don’t hear our Labor MPs boasting about in our local newspaper or on any mainstream media.

All I can say is, keep this in mind when next voting.
