Excitement is building this week after the announcement that Sarah King, the most cherished voice in local broadcasting, is set to return to the airwaves on Coast FM 963.

King, who became a household name during her nearly three-decade run as a breakfast show host, will once again bring her warmth, wit, and familiar charm to homes across the region.

After months of speculation, Coast FM made the official announcement on Monday, much to the delight of her devoted listeners.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sarah King back to Central Coast radio on Coast FM,” said Station Manager Sarah Warry.

“Time and again, we hear from the community how much they miss Sarah, and how much they’d love to hear her on the radio again.”

For King, the decision to return was all about reconnecting with the people of the Central Coast. “I miss everybody,” she said.

“The people are why I did it. They’re what got me out of bed so early all those years.

I love our Central Coast community, and it’s been such a big part of my life. I’ve really missed that connection.”

While the exact details of when Sarah King will be back on air are still under wraps, both King and Warry have promised that more updates are on the way.

In the meantime, her fans can look forward to hearing that familiar voice lighting up their days once again soon.

  1. About time Sarah

  2. It will beneficial for the station but I hope that she doesn’t: displace our regular announcers. Greg Willmette is a great breakfast announcer and Lance Godman is great on the mornings ( should get more days )
