The Art House will feature In the Zone on September 20, expertly performed by professional hip-hop dancer Libby Montilla, with the use of electronic percussion technology which operates like video game controllers.
Montilla controls the sound, lights and movement on the stage and takes audiences on a journey through virtual worlds full of key learnings and internal discoveries.
A stunning soundscape which includes electronica, atmospheric strings, funky drum loops and the sounds of birds, ocean waves and nature, is linked to Montilla’s outstanding body animation and storytelling.
The show is perfect for young audiences who might better relate to a street performer on their level, rather than an elite dance company.
The show will take place in The Art House Studio at 11am and 7pm on Friday, September 20, with special school bookings available.
