The Peninsula Environment Group (PEG) in conjunction with the Woy Woy Peninsula Community Garden is presenting two native bee workshops at the Woytopia Festival Sunday, October 13.
The presenter will be the well-known native bee guru Dr Tim Heard who will walk attendees through the management and care of native bees.
Heard starts his sessions with an hour of theory on the care and maintenance of native bees backed up by a practical demonstration on how to split a native beehive.
These events are not to be missed with lucky door prizes on offer and all proudly supported by Central Coast Council through financial support from the Protection of the Environment Trust.
Spaces are limited to 40 attendees per session which are at 10am and 2pm.
