A community forum will be held at Hardys Bay on September 21 to give residents a chance to meet Federal Member of Parliament Dr Gordon Reid and discuss local matters.
It is part of a series of events being rolled out by Reid including seniors’ forums, cost-of-living forums and now community forums.
“It is imperative that our community has consistent access to their Federal Member of Parliament and that local matters are being raised and addressed,” Reid said.
“When I was elected in May 2022 I made a commitment to the people of Robertson that I would always be dependable and accessible.
“My record is clear and I will always provide opportunities for people to meet with me or to access my office.
“Our forum at Hardys Bay is an excellent platform for residents in surrounding suburbs to participate and bring their matters to my attention.
“I will have staff and resources available, so if you are not able to speak with me during the event my staff are happy to assist, but I will do my very best to meet with everyone.
“The Federal Labor Government continues to be focused on delivering cost of living relief to the Central Coast.
“Already we have delivered tax cuts for every taxpayer, provided a $300 energy rebate to every household, and reduced the cost of PBS medications.”
The forum will take place on Saturday, September 21, from 11am at Hardys Bay Club in Heath Rd.
