Seniors Forum one of the most successful yet

Member for Swansea Yasmin Catley at the Seniors Forum

More than 160 people attended a Seniors Forum at Halekulani Bowling Club recently hosted by Member for Swansea Yasmin Catley.

The forum was aimed at giving Central Coast locals the opportunity to hear from their local member, interact with service providers in the electorate, and network with other locals.

Numerous stalls were set up around the venue allowing attendees to speak to a variety of service providers in the area, find out more information, and seek assistance.

It was also an opportunity to network with others and discuss local issues.

Stallholders and local community groups attending the forum included Tuggerah Lakes Police, Central Coast Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service, Fair Trading, Service NSW; Carers NSW; Home Instead; Energy and Water Ombudsman; Seniors Rights Service; Turnbull Hill Lawyers and representatives from Central Coast Council.

“The response to this year’s Seniors Forum on the Central Coast has been fantastic and it’s on track to be one of our biggest yet,” Catley said.

“The support from stallholders has been tremendous with government departments and local community groups getting on board to provide information to attendees.”
