Midfielder Harry Steele has signed a new three-year deal with the Central Coast Mariners.
Born and bred on the Central Coast, the 21-year-old progressed through the Mariners’ academy system and has already made 63 Isuzu UTE A-League appearances in his first three seasons of professional football.
Initially making his debut in Round 1 of the 2021/22 Isuzu UTE A-League season against Newcastle at 19, he went on to play 23 matches in his first campaign, including starting in the elimination final against Adelaide United.
Since then, he has become a back-to-back Isuzu UTE A-League Champion as well as a treble winner.
He featured for almost an hour in the historic home grand final victory over Melbourne just a few months ago, while also coming off the bench in the AFC Cup final.
“I love this club and community; it is my home,” Steele said.
“I’m looking forward to helping continue to build on what we have already done; I have been here for a long time and have loved every minute of it.
“This club means a lot to the people of the Central Coast, and I am thrilled to be extending my time with the Mariners.”
Head Coach Mark Jackson said Steele had huge potential and brought a lot to the team both on and off the pitch.
“To see local players come through and make their mark on the first team is fantastic and we’re looking forward to working with Steeley next season and beyond,” he said.
