Our current Council is well meaning but unfortunately out of touch with the Central Coast’s needs.
While money is spent to encourage tourism, which is laudable, the small details are overlooked.
As tourists enter Gosford down the Central Coast Hwy from the M1 and turn right onto Brisbane Water Dr to access the beautiful Peninsula, they are confronted with a large corner and long nature strip full of overgrown weeds up to one metre tall.
First impressions count.
There is nothing welcoming about this highly used southern gateway to the coast and the same could be said for the northern gateway at Ourimbah exiting the M1.
Our Council can do better and I trust that our 15 new councillors can make sure it does.
