A woman was refused bail to appear in Gosford Local Court after allegedly assaulting a police officer at a courthouse.
At about 2pm on Wednesday, July 3, a senior constable was entering Wyong Local Court when she was allegedly assaulted by a 35-year-old woman.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended a short time later and arrested the 35-year-old woman.
She was taken to Wyong Police Station, where she was charged with assault police officer in execution of duty cause actual bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The police officer sought medical treatment for her injuries.
