Milestone for antiques business

The store is open seven days a week

Central Coast Antiques & Collectables is celebrating four years of trading in Gosford, after relocating from Woy Woy in 2021.

Rotary Brisbane Water President Mitchell Gordon founded the lauded small business with the goal of aiding regional non-profit organisations affected by COVID-19 by allocating a portion of earnings to a new charity each month.

Despite beginning amid a worldwide pandemic, the business has demonstrated remarkable adaptability, emerging as a truly distinctive enterprise.

Organisations which have received financial support from the business since it was established include Woy Woy Youth Cottage, Brisbane Water Youth Cottage, Brisbane Water Historical Society, Coast Shelter, Mary Mac’s Place, RSPCA Central Coast Shelter, WIRES Central Coast, Westlakes Stroke Recovery Group, The Salvation Army Umina Beach Corps, and Rotary Brisbane Water.

The business continues to donate to Central Coast charities

The business also makes regular donations to Lifeline, Allawah House and Coast Shelter.

Gordon and his team offer the only complimentary home clearance service in the region.

Central Coast Antiques & Collectables can be found at 3 Watt St, Gosford, close to Australia Post.

It is open from 10.30am-5pm, seven days a week.
