Two Turkeys Catering hosted an afternoon with Wendy Harmer recently at the Patonga Community Hall to showcase her latest book, Lies My Mirror Told Me.
The event was attended by 96 eager participants who enjoyed a two-course lunch by Two Turkeys Catering followed by an in conversation with Harmer and Margaret Pomeranz.
Harmer entertained the crowd with hilarious anecdotes about her life, occasionally touching on the more sober reality of a tough childhood.
The event was organised by the Words on the Waves writers’ festival with The Book Shop at Umina providing copies of the book.
Two Turkeys Catering will welcome Mike Carlton in September.
