I would like to add my concerns about upgrading Central Coast Airport at Warnervale.
When I read through the information on the Council’s website the answer to a FAQ about funding was that “we are looking into funding”.
What exactly does this mean?
Perhaps privately run or owned?
This raises the question about ownership, use and regulations.
The Council also said they had sent out more than 40,000 letters to nearby residents.
We live close to Tuggerah Lake and close to the airport as the crow flies but did not receive a letter.
I would like to know the wording of this letter and how the residents feel.
This is a big issue which should not be decided until Central Coast residents are able to vote for their local councillors and get all the facts and figures.

I live near the airport and have received no letter. I am not impressed with the lack of information given out by the administrator regarding this issue
I wholeheartedly agree Shirley, no more monuments to be erected by those with illusions of grandeur, we have a right to vote yes or no on the airport upgrade. I have just read that Central coast council intends to apply to make permanent the temporary rate increase approved in 2020. This no doubt will be needed for the airport upgrade that serves no purpose for the residents of the central coast other than increasing air traffic noise for residents.
