With the Seniors Festival coming to an end on March 24, Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch recognised recipients of the Local Seniors Award at his annual Terrigal Electorate Local Seniors’ Afternoon Tea on Friday, March 15.
Crouch hosted the seniors who were nominated for the award by family, friends and the community for their immense contributions to society and highlighted the diverse way they support the local community more broadly.
“This year’s awardees of the Local Senior Award were recognised for the great contributions they have made to our community, whether it be through volunteering with our local surf clubs, keeping other seniors active through tai chi classes or providing free furniture delivery for seniors and those in need, all of this year’s nominees have made their mark,” he said.
“I am so privileged to have these fantastic seniors in my electorate and offer my sincerest congratulations on those who have received the Local Senior Award.”
