Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions from Monday on the southbound lanes of the M1 at Mooney Mooney.
From Monday, January 29, Transport for NSW will carry out essential maintenance work on the southbound lanes on approach to the Hawkesbury River Bridge, including road resurfacing.
To minimise impact to motorists, work will be carried out from 8.30pm to 6am on weeknights and is expected to be completed in one week, weather permitting.
Two of the three southbound lanes will be closed to all motorists.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours.
Motorists are advised to allow an extra five minutes in travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
