Music lovers, swing dancers and vintage culture aficionados should head for the Fun Haus Factory in Gosford this Sunday, December 17, for an all-ages swinging lunch as the venue is transformed into a speakeasy featuring the ever-popular local band The Bathtub Gin Orchestra.
Described as two parts 1920s stomp, one-part early 1930s swing with a dash of Gypsy jazz, the band will celebrate the party music of the early 20th century.
The Fun Haus Factory has been hosting live music at a weekly pace not seen in Gosford for some years, with Sunday patrons encouraged to find a perch on the deck and cool off under the newly installed misting cooling system.
Authentic Mexican city street food and icy cocktails, wine or local tap beer will be available for purchase.
There will be a happy hour with $10 cocktails from noon until 1pm, when the band kicks off.
The sextet, comprising Phoebe Haselden on violin/vocals, Dorian Mode on piano/vocals, Morgan Haselden on guitar/vocals, Brendan Berlach on clarinet, Fiona Lugg on double bass and Toby Hall on drums, will encourage you to get yourself into the vibes of charleston, balboa, lindy hop or collegiate shag.
This will be the last free live music event hosted by the Naughty Noodle Fun Haus for 2023.
