Young tennis champion Lalie Conway has been recognised in the NSW Parliament by Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch for her win in the Australian Tennis Championships held recently in Melbourne.
Crouch spoke of Lalie’s passion as a tennis player and congratulated her on her recent win as champion in the II-1 women’s singles division two.
“Lalie is a passionate tennis player and absolutely loves her sport, giving her very best in all that she does and training hard multiple times a week,” he told Parliament.
“Lalie’s hard work has paid off, competing in major tournaments and most recently being crowned Champion of the II-1 Women’s Singles division two.”
Crouch said that it was great honour to meet Lalie and her mum, Nicole, and present them with a copy of the Community Recognition Statement he made in Parliament.
“My sincerest congratulations to Lalie for everything you have achieved so far and also a big congratulations to proud mum Nicole, who has been backing Lalie the entire way.”
