Tuggerah Lakes Police are reminding residents that community safety is everyone’s responsibility.
A post on the Police District’s Facebook page says the community is the best source of information to help police.
“Whether it relates to crime or anti-social behaviour, police rely on accurate and timely information from the community to prevent, disrupt and respond to incidents,” the post says.
“We need your help to find out what is happening, where it is happening and when it occurs.
“We also encourage you to share any information that helps identify who is responsible.
“Take note of descriptions of persons or vehicles, where they go and what they have done.
“Communicate this information to your local police.
“Crimestoppers is a fantastic tool to help our police, and all information can be shared anonymously.
“We encourage you to partner with police to make positive change in your community.”
