A man has died while on a mountain bike ride at Mangrove Mountain over the weekend.
On Sunday, November 12, at about 11:30am emergency services were called to Dubbo Gully Rd, Mangrove Mountain, after reports of concern for the welfare of a 66-year-old man.
Toll Rescue Helicopter attended the medical emergency to assist NSW Ambulance paramedics who treated the man, but he died at the scene.
Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District attended and were told the man was participating in a group bike ride at the time.
An investigation into the incident has commenced and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
