I have concerns about the priorities of our elected representatives, Member for Robertson Gordon Reid and Member for Gosford Liesl Tesch on the south end of the Central Coast.
Gordon Reid’s emphasis on “the Voice” and Liesel Tesch’s recent trip to Ghana to discuss parliamentary inclusivity are commendable to some, but we face much more immediate challenges.
The cost of living is rising, bulk billing is eroding, and the ballooning rental crisis is rarely discussed.
Instead of a “voice,” we need our MPs to lend their ears beyond tokenistic gestures to the issues that matter most to their constituents here on the coast.
