Huge boost for Naughty Noodle

Member for Robertson Gordon Reid presents the cheque to staff at the Naughty Noodle Fun Haus

The Naughty Noodle Fun Haus has received $60,000 through the Federal Government’s Live Music Australia Program, which supports quality original Australian live music.

Member for Robertson Gordon Reid MP said the grant would boost the live music, arts and culture scene on the Central Coast by helping fund ongoing live music events at the new Fun Haus Factory in Gosford.

“The Naughty Noodle Fun Haus has helped reshape the arts and culture landscape and changed the Central Coast region for the better and have brought so much colour, joy, and excitement to our part of the world,” he said.

“I cannot wait to go along to one of its Sonic Sundays and be a part of a blossoming live music, arts and culture scene in the heart of Gosford.

“I thank Juan, Glitta and all the amazing staff that have helped make this all happen.”

Creative Director Glitta Supernova said the leading contemporary arts and culture organisation had been operating across shared spaces and as a pop-up, seeing well over 20,000 visitors through its virtual doors.

“This support couldn’t have come at a better time as we prepare to launch the Central Coast Contemporary Multi-Arts Centre, aka the Fun Haus Factory, in mid-October, right in the heart of Gosford,” she said.

“(The money) will go directly into presenting our weekly live music programming Sonic Sundays which will highlight not only the Central Coast’s live music scene but also continue our work in putting the region on the live music touring map.

“(This will enable) more local jobs across, not only for musicians, but for technical crew and venue operations.”

The Naughty Noodle Fun Haus has just successfully run the annual Coastal Twist Festival from September 26 to October 2, attracting huge crowds to the region.
