The Central Coast JDRF One Walk has been running since 2012 raising nearly $300,000 for research to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
The One Walk annual, national event this year marks its 30th anniversary.
This year’s Central Coast walk will be on September 17 at the Davistown waterfront, starting at 10am.
It will be officially opened by Federal Member for Robertson Gordon Reid at 11am after a smoking ceremony and a welcome to country.
State Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch will also be attending.
On the day, there will be market stalls, entertainment, barbecue, information stands regarding Type 1 diabetes, a coffee van, ice cream van plus a huge raffle to finish off the day.
Everyone is welcome, including friends and families of Type 1 diabetics.
