Top tribute to two great bands

Stuck in a Moment plays Laycock St this month

U2 and INXS are two of the greatest rock acts of all time, with each band having millions of fans worldwide.

But what some may not know is that the legendary lead singers formed a close friendship over the years.

The tragic death of Michael Hutchence in 1997 left Bono emotionally fractured.

Angry and frustrated, he put pen to paper to have the conversation with Michael he never got to have.

The resulting song, Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of, became one of U2’s most enduring hits.

Stuck in a Moment – The U2 and INXS story, presented by The U2 Show Achtung Baby and The Australian INXS Show, is set to play North Gosford’s Laycock St Theatre this month.

Stuck in a Moment is a high-energy tribute to friendship and a shared love of the best music.

It features live performances from each tribute band, playing INXS and U2’s greatest hits, including two never-before-seen collaborative performances.

Audiences can look forward to singing, dancing and feeling the love with songs such as With Or Without You, Never Tear Us Apart, Beautiful Day, Kick, Where The Streets Have No Name, Don’t Change and Pride.

The U2 Show Achtung Baby and The Australian INXS Show are both internationally acclaimed tribute shows which have appeared on some of the world’s biggest stages.

The costumes, visual effects and biggest hits will make this a truly unforgettable event.

The show plays Laycock St Community Theatre on Saturday, April 22.

Bookings are available on the theatre website.
