A police employee has been charged with high-range drink-driving after a crash at Berkeley Vale last month.
At about 8.15pm on Friday, February 3, officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District were called to Lakedge Ave after reports of a crash.
The driver, a 59-year-old woman, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital for mandatory testing, where she allegedly returned a positive blood alcohol reading of 0.217.
The police employee, who is attached to a specialist command in the Northern Region, was issued a Court Attendance Notice for high-range PCA to appear in Wyong Local Court on Wednesday April 26.
Her licence has been suspended.
