A man has been taken to John Hunter Hospital following an incident at Somersby falls on Saturday, January 14.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was sent to the location just after 5pm.
Due to the location the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team was winched inserted into the scene.
The man, in his 30s, had suffered head injuries after falling four metres off a rope swing.
He was stretcher winched from the location and airlifted to the hospital in a serious but stable condition for further treatment.
