High tea to help brew young talent

All the savoury and sweet treats are made entirely on the premises

IF helping a good cause is your cup of tea, you may be interested in an event being sponsored by Rotary Brisbane Water on February 18.

Dubbed High Tea for a Cause, the event at Hatter’s Tea House in Ettalong will raise funds for Woy Woy Little Theatre’s youth engagement program.

Organiser Monica Agius said the $55 a head event would help young people express themselves through theatre.

“The youth program at Woy Woy Little Theatre, called SPARK, consists of a number of workshops culminating in a performance weekend,” she said.

“It is aimed at developing participation in the performing arts on the Peninsula and Central Coast in general.

“And this high tea will be held close enough to Valentine’s Day for people wanting to make a romantic date of it, though of course it will be a worthwhile experience even without the romantic focus.”

Hatter’s legendary high teas of savoury and sweet treats are made entirely on the premises.

Bookings for the High Tea For A Cause can be made through Eventbrite.
