Inner Wheel stall eases burden for needy

Some of the people in need on the Central Coast will be able to enjoy a happier Christmas thanks to the efforts of the volunteers of The Inner Wheel Club of Gosford.

On Friday, December 2, in the Kincumber Village Shopping Centre, the ladies gathered with arms and trolleys laden with beautiful handmade craft to set up a huge Christmas stall.

“Knowing the quality of our craft we now have many return customers who readily and happily filled their shopping bags,” a spokesperson said.

“Christmas shopping made easy … and club is then able to donate to organisations such as We Care Connect, Lifeline, NG Central School, Kincumber Neighbourhood Centre and Grandparents Raising Grandchildren.

Customers had a hurge range of goods to choose from

“Our club is very grateful for continuing support from the management at Kincumber Village Shopping Centre.

“In a dry air-conditioned venue, we can spread out our tables giving customers plenty of room to peruse the wonderful craft items.”

The club also received a donation of two quilts at its recent Vintage Garage Sale, which are to be given to the NG Central School.

“The donor thought that the NG Central School, which offers alternative education at its Kariong campus, being one of our recipients, was a very worthwhile cause,” the spokesperson said.

“They will be used for unwell students.”
