Three Central Coast groups are among 85 across the state to receive NSW Government funding for activities planned as part of next year’s NSW Seniors Festival.
The Naughty Noodle Noodle Fun Haus has received funding for its Silver Soiree Cabaret, which will return in 2023 after enjoying huge success this year.
Also receiving grants are Better Hearing Australia Central Coast for its Movie Legends Captioned program and One Direct Connect for its Let’s Do Yoga program at The Entrance.
Minister for Seniors, Mark Coure, said 85 community organisations from across the state have received a share in $200,000 to host activities during the festival.
“The NSW Seniors Festival is the largest celebration of seniors in the Southern Hemisphere and attracts up to 500,000 people every year,” Coure said.
“Each of these groups are helping make the festival even bigger, giving seniors more opportunities to get involved across the state.”
The activities hosted by the community groups will take place during the NSW Seniors Festival, which is scheduled to run from February 1-12, 2023.
Each of the 85 activities are to provide seniors an opportunity to get involved during the festival and connect them with their local community, no matter their background or abilities.
