Policeman honoured for dedicated service

Sgt Taylor farewelled by colleagues

A former Central Coast Police Officer was honoured by his colleagues last week when he retired after 34 years of service.

Sergeant Paul Taylor attested as a Probationary Constable in September 1988 from Class 237.

He performed General Duties at Maroubra, Chatswood, Eastwood and Tuggerah Lakes before being promoted to the rank of Sergeant at City Central LAC in July 2003.

In 2008 he transferred to Brisbane Water Police District as a General Duties Team Leader until his retirement on September 15.

Last Thursday he was marched out by his fellow officers in a celebration of the significant contributions he has made to the NSW Police Force and to the community of NSW during his three decades of service.
