Erina Fair is gearing up for Christmas, with a number of new retailers set to open, including several national and international brands, and other stores to relocate within the centre.
With Target set to vacate the centre, its prime site will be occupied by H&M, rebel, City Beach and an EMF Fitness Centre.
The rebel store will move from the Kmart end of the centre and will introduce its new rebel Customer Experience (rCX) to the Central Coast.
The store will be larger in format, with a fresh and open layout that encourages customers to test products and equipment in dedicated sports hubs before they buy.
Managing Director at rebel, Gary Williams, said the Erina store would be the chain’s 12th rCX concept store and the first on the Central Coast.
“This launch underlines the success of the innovative, interactive retail model that enhances the in-store experience for customers and better showcases the world’s leading sports brands,” he said.
City Beach will relocate from near the Atrium Food Court in favour of a larger space to offer customers a wider variety of product.
EMF Fitness Centre will open its first 24/7 high-performance gym on the Central Coast, offering state-of-the-art facilities, including a full range of pin and plate loaded strength equipment and an infrared sauna, as well as group fitness classes.
Another first for the Central Coast will be JD Sports, to be located near the Atrium Food Court.
A spokesperson said JD Sports has had regular feedback from Central Coast-based customers who have previously shopped online.
“We look forward to finally being able to deliver an in-store experience to them,” the spokesperson said.
“In traditional JD style, we’ll look to celebrate the grand opening with a strong product assortment that will reward our most loyal and dedicated shoppers.”
Glue Store will open next to the new JD Sports and be another first to the region.
Glue Store Group GM, Darren Todd, said customers will no longer have to travel for an in-store experience.
“It is the perfect location for Glue Store to represent the best local and international brands for our Central Coast shoppers,” he said.
Kidstuff is due to open in the kid’s precinct of the centre this month, with Peter Jackson and Dangerfield to open in the Fashion Mall later this year.
Erina Fair Centre Manager, Stephen Ross, said the team had listened to what the local community wants to see at the centre.
“We’ve responded with a great mix of national brands, expanded product offerings, services, new concept stores, and a line-up of strong newcomers to the Central Coast,” he said.
“We look forward to welcoming these new retailers to our exciting retail mix and further establish Erina Fair as a great destination centre.”
All retailers are expected to open before Christmas, with EMF Fitness Centre to open early in 2023.
