Central Coast police have reminded motorists that double demerits are in force from Friday, September 30, to Monday, October 3, inclusive.
If you are caught speeding, using a mobile phone illegally, not wearing a seatbelt or motorcycle helmet this long weekend, you’ll face double the points.
Police will be out in force to ensure Coast roads are as safe as possible.
“We all share the roads, so we all have a collective role to play to keep our roads safe,” they said.
“Your licence is a privilege and not a right so don’t risk losing it.
“Losing your licence will have a significant impact on your personal and professional lives.”
