Six disabled residents will find a permanent home with the construction of group homes to be managed by Ability Options.
Each of the three-bedroom homes will have two bathrooms, therapy areas, kitchens, living and dining areas and outside patios.
Supported independent living provider, Ability Options will be managing the group homes for residents with a disability under a Tenancy Maintenance and Management Agreement.
They will operate on a domestic scale, similar to any other residency, and with assistance from support workers around the clock.
A Plan of Management or the group homes will ensure suitable practices to maintain safety and amenity for residents in the group homes and to minimise any impact on neighbouring properties.
The development of the two group homes was approved by Central Coast Council in July.
