Car side-swiped at Doyalson North

Central Coast Highway Patrol officers are asking drivers to check their dash cam to assist their inquiries after a vehicle failed to stop after an accident at Doyalson North.

The incident occurred at 4.45pm on June 4, southbound on the Pacific Highway.

Police are seeking information regarding a black Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon ute that side-swiped an elderly lady’s Nissan Qashquai at high speed and failed to stop and render assistance.

A similar vehicle was observed by witnesses driving erratically shortly before this incident.

The vehicle is a full-bodied ute which might have personalised black and white number plates.

Police are asking that people come forward if they have dash cam footage, or knows someone with unexplained damage to a similar vehicle or witnessed the incident and recorded the registration number.
