[18 March 2020] Central Coast Local Health District is providing care and support to an additional three people confirmed with COVID-19.

This takes the total number of cases of COVID-19 in the Central Coast to five.

Details of the new cases follow below:
• A female in her 30s who attended a wedding at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Stanwell Tops on 6 March, 2020.
• A male and female in their 70s who recently returned from overseas and were travelling companions of the second case on the Central Coast, a woman in her 40s also recently returned from overseas.

Health staff continue daily wellness checks with all confirmed cases in the District who remain in isolation and are doing well.

Close contacts of the three new cases have been contacted and asked to self-isolate. They are being contacted every day to check that they are well and any close contact who develops COVID-19 symptoms will be tested for the infection.

All travellers returning or arriving from overseas must self-isolate for 14 days. This applies to everyone, even if you have no symptoms. Please follow the home isolation guidance.

NSW Health is continuing to trace and respond to cases as they are diagnosed to slow any spread of COVID-19 in the community.
