A University of Newcastle PhD candidate studying food science at Ourimbah Campus, is destined to make a global mark after being awarded a prestigious travel scholarship to the USA.
Patrice Jones has been selected by the Australian Academy of Science, to visit the National Institutes of Health in the USA, the only junior scientist recipient in 2019. With a keen interest in environment-gene interactions in nutrition, Patrice’s extended visit to the National Institutes of Health offers a platform to establish long-term collaboration and develop her research career.
