Northlakes High School hosted Japanese high school students on July 24. “Our guests from Japan were welcomed to the school,” said NorthLakes High School Principal,
Warren Welham. “During their visit to the school, students hosted the Japanese students through a buddy program, and introduced them to various aspects of Australian culture during their stay. “Some of the most popular activities amongst both groups were the cross cultural cooking classes, where Japanese guests instructed students on sushi making, the Aboriginal culture experience and the visit to The Australian Reptile Park,” he concluded. The Japanese students returned home on August 1.
