All Justices of the Peace on the Central Coast are invited to attend the 3pm session of the NSW Justices Association State Conference, held at Mingara Recreation Club, Tumbi Umbi, on May 19.
The event is free for JP’s who simply need to register their interest with Mr Bruce Gibbs JP. His Excellency the Governor of NSW, The NSW Attorney General, prominent members of the NSW Police Force, and many invited guest speakers from across NSW are attending the conference. The free 3 to 4:50pm Audio Visual session will be presented by Dr John Brodie JP PhD, who is responsible for Education and Training for the NSW Justices Association.
The work conducted by JPs becomes more complex as they keep up with modern regulatory requirements, varied documents presented by the public and the digital world. Topics covered will include: JP Code of Conduct; JP Duty of Care; JP Conflict of Interest; and the three duties of a JP, Affidavits, Statutory Declarations and Certified Copies.
