Diggers at The Entrance will host the Inner Wheel Clubs of the Central Coast’s Fashion Parade and Luncheon, on Saturday, May 26.
With over 100,000 members, Inner Wheel is a worldwide service and friendship organisation which aims to help the needy of the world, particularly women, children and families.
The function will bring attention to the work of Inner Wheel and Cord Blood Research, Inner Wheel Australia’s current national project.
Guest Speaker, Dr Sylvie Shen, Children’s Cancer Centre, Sydney Children’s Hospital,
Randwick, who was the Inner Wheel Australia Cord Blood grant awardee in 2016 and
2017, will enlighten guests on the latest outcomes in this field.
Cord blood is used to assist in the treatment of conditions such as juvenile diabetes,
cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis and leukaemia.
“This is a chance for guests to add to their winter wardrobes. “With a drink upon
arrival, a delicious two course lunch, interesting guest speaker and a stylish fashion parade, guests are bound to have a special day out.
“At the same time, they will hear of Inner Wheel’s wonderful work around the world,”
