The Gosford Branch of Save the Children is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

Over the years, the group has been involved in many charitable pursuits to raise aid funds centred around childcare and development in developing countries. Domestically, Save the Children provides play buses for pre-school children, mobile youth vans to support vulnerable teenagers, parental support and juvenile justice mentoring. “Drawing on our history and experience, Save the Children continues to grow and reach out to children in need, both in Australia and overseas,” said the group’s Ms Bronwen Ozanne. In celebration of their anniversary, the Gosford Branch will be holding a Devonshire Morning Tea at Narara Uniting Church from 10 am on March 16.
