BREAKING: Central Coast Council’s interim CEO Brian Bell has resigned with effect at the end of January, citing personal health issues.
The Council is now scrambling to replace the very experienced senior manager who was bought in after Council Administrator Ian Reynolds left along with CEO Rob Noble when the new councillors were elected in September.
Mr Bell had previously indicated to Coast Community News that he would step down before his contact expired in September and a recruit process had commenced.
Mr Bell was the highly regarded CEO of Lake Macquarie Council for many years, before agreeing to take on the temporary Central Coast position.
