Wyong High School students, ranging from Year 9 to Year 12, and teachers, travelled to IBM Sydney for a day of coding, 360 degree virtual reality video, robotics and game design, with the team from Coding Factory and IBM, on November 16.
The students did activities with the Komplete Kaos Team and their robot, who made it into the International First Robotic Competition in Texas. “We were really lucky to have some IBM staff join us for lunch, for the students to have a chat with IBM Graduates and Senior IBM Executives, including Mr Nigel Peach, GM for Business Partners for Australia and New Zealand,” Wyong Principal, Mr Rodney Hill, said. The day was organised by Ms Jade Moffat, IBM Australia’s Corporate Citizenship Manager, as part of the P-TECH program at Wyong High School.
