Warnervale Uniting Church officially opened

The new Warnervale Regional Uniting Church Worship and Community Centre

The Warnervale Regional Uniting Church Worship and Community Centre was officially opened on Sunday, June 4.
The day of celebration was attended by 300 people.
The congregation was relieved and excited after 20 years of planning and six years after the commencement of the project.
The building’s construction commenced in February, 2016.
Reverend Maz Smith said: “This is the building the Uniting Church across NSW built.

“Now it will be up to the Warnervale Regional Uniting Church Congregation to make it a community and worship centre,” Rev Smith said.
The Chair of Sydney Central Coast Presbytery and former Moderator, Mr Jim Mein; Rev Myung Hwa Park; and Minister of Warnervale Regional Uniting Church, Rev Maz Smith, unveiled a plaque dedicating the building to the Warnervale Community.
Rev Myung Hwa Park, Moderator of the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of NSW and ACT, spoke of her joy in the opening of the new building in 2017, which is also the 40th Anniversary of the Uniting Church in Australia.
