Plans for a Residential Flat Building containing five townhouses and 15 apartments in Terrigal, first approved by the former Gosford Council, have progressed with the submission of a Complying Development Certificate.
The development plans which were approved in 2013, have since seen sporadic preliminary works completed, such as the demolition of existing structures and some earthworks, but work idled throughout 2016.
Developer Hunter Valley Surveyors Pty Ltd re-sparked interest in the site, making a move on March 1, as the five year consent deadline loomed.
The estimated cost of the development, situated on 65 Scenic Highway Terrigal, is $5,730,000.
The original consent (DA44042) stipulated the development would be broken into two stages, with stage one containing all the necessary preliminary works and approvals and the construction of the Residential Flat Building, which will contain five townhouses accessed from Woolunga Ave.
Stage two will deliver 15 units, consisting of five two bedroom and 10 three bedroom apartments from the Ash St Scenic Highway frontage.
