The March 5 Lands Experience at The Rhythm Hut in Faunce St, Gosford, features international folk and roots act Chad Wilkins.
Mystic Minstrel, Chad Wilkins, is an American/Australian singer-songwriter bringing heart-songs that reveal a better way for a generation in transitional times on our planet.
From his lively, progressive grooves, to his deeply prayerful chants, spanning many genres, Chad’s rootsy folk anthems carry themes of love, gratitude, risk, honour, and pure vibrant life, giving voice to a cry for spiritual transformation, harmony with the Earth, and hope for a bright future.
Touring extensively, Chad’s performance style is unique and spontaneous whether performing solo, with his full band, or anywhere in between.
He guides his listeners through an interactive journey ranging from dancing celebration to mindful meditation to sing-along declarations.
Chad released his first full-length album, Show Us The Way Of The Heart in 2014, and in 2015, his most recent release, This New Ancient Paradigm, featuring the single Live Love.
Each month, the 5 Lands Experience begins with a free community drum circle at 5:00pm with all ages and levels welcome, drums and percussion provided.
The event is headlined by the 5 Lands Band, a forever changing line-up that includes different members each month, as a result no two nights are the same.
Having run for over nine years, the 5 Lands Band is a well-known and popular Central Coast establishment.
Named after originally forming to perform at the famous 5 Lands Walk in Terrigal, the ever changing line up of The 5 Lands Band, led by Rendra Freestone, brings together some of the top musicians from the Central Coast, Sydney and Newcastle.
The band doesn’t practice, nor write music together, but rather creates improvised jams, based on funk, jazz, folk and groove.
Well known for getting the dance floor pumping, the 5 Lands Band kicks off music at 6:30pm.
As usual, dinner, drinks, desserts and snacks available for purchase.
The Rhythm Hut is all ages and fully licensed.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 25.
The March 5 Lands Experience featuring the 5 Lands Band with special guest Chad Wilkins will take place on Sunday March 26, from 5:00pm, at The Rhythm Hut in Faunce St, Gosford.
