The Central Coast branch of Better Hearing Australia is organising a captioned screening of the classic 1956 musical comedy, High Society, for NSW Seniors’ Week.
The film will be shown at Avoca Beach Picture Theatre on March 6.
A free movie ticket and a choc-top ice cream will be provided to the first 100 moviegoers.
By displaying a synchronised text version of the audio portion of the film on screen, movie captioning allows the content of the film to be accessible to people who have hearing loss.
